KNOWN ISSUE: Videos stop playing after a few seconds in Google Chrome on iPad
STATUS: Open
DESCRIPTION: Some videos are not playing properly in the Google Chrome browser on iPads. The video will initially load and begin to play, but after a few seconds, the video playback stops, appears to buffer, and a circle icon is displayed over the video. The video does not resume playing after this point. The issue is only happening in Chrome on iPad, and is not happening in any other browsers on iPad, (e.g. Safari and DuckDuckGo), any browser Mac and PC, nor on iPhone and Android devices.
SUGGESTED ACTION: Please load the video in a different browser on iPad (e.g. Safari or DuckDuckGo), or on a computer, iPhone or Android device to view the video without buffering issues until a permanent fix is released.
NEXT STEPS: A permanent solution to the issue in Chrome is underway. An update will be provided here when the issue has been resolved and confirmed as working. Thank you for your patience!
